## Outgoing Exchange (oGX)

Outgoing Exchange (oGX) is the function responsible for enabling young people in Denmark to participate in AIESEC's international exchange programmes. As an oGX team member, you guide Exchange Participants (EPs) through every step of their journey — from their first sign-up on the AIESEC website to their return home and reintegration into the local community. You are the bridge between a Danish student's ambition to go abroad and the life-changing experience that AIESEC delivers.

### Key Responsibilities

* **EP Recruitment** — Attract and convert prospective Exchange Participants through campus outreach, social media campaigns, information sessions, and one-on-one conversations. Ensure a steady pipeline of sign-ups throughout the term.
* **Expa Management** — Register EPs on Expa (AIESEC's global exchange platform), maintain accurate profiles, and keep opportunity statuses up to date so that matching can happen efficiently.
* **Matching & Approval** — Connect EPs with suitable opportunities abroad by reviewing Traineeships (TNs), facilitating interviews between EPs and host entities, and processing approvals in Expa.
* **EP Preparation** — Deliver pre-departure preparation sessions covering cultural adjustment, safety protocols, visa logistics, and expectations management. Ensure every EP feels confident before leaving Denmark.
* **Realization & Standards** — Follow up on matched EPs to ensure they complete all required steps (payment, insurance, travel booking) and that the experience is realized according to AIESEC's Global Compliance Standards.
* **Reintegration** — Welcome EPs back, conduct return debriefs, collect feedback via surveys (e.g., Net Promoter Score), and support reintegration into the LC through alumni engagement or re-recruitment.
* **Data & Reporting** — Track key metrics weekly, update the EP tracker, and report progress to your LCVP and the MC oGX Manager.

**Google Drive Reference:** All oGX templates, guides, and training materials are stored in the shared drive under:

`04e — oGX & iCX/`

This folder contains EP preparation checklists, matching guides, reintegration session plans, and historical data.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you do not have access to the shared drive folder, ask your LCVP oGX or the MC oGX Manager to add you.

### How to Get Started

1. **Get your Expa access** — Ask your LCVP to create your Expa account and assign you the correct role permissions. Spend your first session exploring the platform: browse open opportunities, look at EP profiles, and understand the status flow (Open → Matched → Approved → Realized).
2. **Read the EP Journey Guide** — In the shared drive under `04e — oGX & iCX/`, find the current EP Journey document. This walks you through every touchpoint from sign-up to reintegration and is the single most important reference for your role.
3. **Shadow a matching call** — Ask an experienced team member if you can sit in on an EP-TN matching call or interview. Observing the process once is worth more than reading about it ten times.
4. **Set your first weekly target** — Work with your LCVP to set a realistic target for your first two weeks (e.g., number of outreach messages, sign-ups generated, or EPs contacted for follow-up). Tracking progress from day one builds good habits.
