# Brand Assets

AIESEC's brand is one of the organization's most valuable assets. Consistent, professional use of our visual identity builds trust with partners, universities, exchange participants, and the public. This page is your guide to the brand assets available for AIESEC in Denmark — where to find them, how to use them, and what to avoid.

{% hint style="info" %}
All brand assets for AIESEC in Denmark are stored on the MC Google Drive under `10 — Resources & Tools/Brand Assets/`. If you need something that is not there, contact the MC Marketing (MKT) Manager before creating anything from scratch.

## Logo Library

### AIESEC Global Logo

The AIESEC logo is defined by AIESEC International and must be used exactly as provided — no modifications to colours, proportions, or layout.

**Available formats:**

* Full colour (blue)
* White (for dark backgrounds)
* Black (for greyscale print)
* PNG (for digital use) and SVG (for print and scaling)

**Usage rules:**

* Always maintain clear space around the logo (minimum: the height of the "A" in AIESEC on all sides)
* Never stretch, rotate, recolour, or add effects (shadows, gradients, outlines) to the logo
* Never place the logo on a busy background where it becomes hard to read

### AIESEC in Denmark Logo

The national entity logo follows AIESEC International's entity lockup format: the global AIESEC logo paired with "in Denmark" beneath or beside it.

**Available formats:** Same as the global logo — full colour, white, black, in PNG and SVG.

**Usage rules:**

* Use the entity logo when representing AIESEC in Denmark specifically (national social media, local events, partnership materials)
* Use the global logo when representing AIESEC as a whole (global campaign materials, international contexts)

### LC Logos

Individual LCs may have a localized lockup (e.g., "AIESEC in Copenhagen"). These follow the same format as the national entity logo.

**Where to find them:** `10 — Resources & Tools/Brand Assets/LC Logos/`

{% hint style="warning" %}
LC logos must follow the global lockup format. LCs are not permitted to create custom logos, wordmarks, or mascots that deviate from the AIESEC brand system. If you need an LC logo that does not exist yet, contact the MC MKT Manager.
{% endhint %}

## Fonts

### Primary Typeface

AIESEC uses specific fonts defined in the BlueBook (AIESEC's global brand guidelines). These fonts should be used in all external-facing materials.

**For digital and presentation use:**

* Check the BlueBook for the current approved font families
* If the approved font is not available on your system, use the designated fallback (typically a clean sans-serif like Arial or Helvetica)

**For social media and Canva:**

* Use the fonts pre-loaded in AIESEC Canva templates
* Do not substitute decorative or script fonts for headings or body text

### Where to Download

Font files (if distributable) are available in `10 — Resources & Tools/Brand Assets/Fonts/`. Some fonts may require a licence — the BlueBook will clarify.

## Campaign Artwork

National and global campaigns come with pre-made visual assets — social media post templates, story templates, banner images, and poster layouts.

**Where to find them:**

* **National campaigns:** `10 — Resources & Tools/Brand Assets/Campaign Artwork/[Campaign Name]/`
* **Global campaigns:** Distributed by AIESEC International via the global communication channels and linked in the campaign brief

**How to use them:**

1. Download the template (usually a Canva link or editable file)
2. Customize only the designated editable areas (dates, LC name, local details)
3. Do not alter the campaign's core visual identity (colours, layout, hero imagery)
4. Export in the specified format and size for each platform

{% hint style="info" %}
If you are running a local campaign that is not part of a national or global initiative, use the AIESEC colour palette and fonts but design your own assets. Submit them to the MC MKT Manager for review before publishing.
{% endhint %}

## The BlueBook

The BlueBook is AIESEC International's official brand guidelines document. It defines everything about AIESEC's visual identity — logos, colours, typography, photography style, tone of voice, and application rules.

**What it covers:**

* Logo usage rules and lockup specifications
* Colour palette (primary blue, secondary colours, accent colours) with HEX, RGB, and CMYK values
* Typography hierarchy (headings, subheadings, body text)
* Photography and illustration guidelines
* Social media visual standards
* Presentation template guidelines
* Merchandise and print material standards
* Co-branding rules (how to present AIESEC alongside partner logos)

**Where to find it:** `10 — Resources & Tools/Brand Assets/BlueBook/`

{% hint style="danger" %}
The BlueBook is the final authority on brand usage. If something in this page conflicts with the BlueBook, the BlueBook wins. Always check the BlueBook when in doubt.

| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------- |
| AIESEC Blue | Primary brand colour, logos, headers | See BlueBook for exact HEX/RGB values |
| White             | Backgrounds, text on dark surfaces               | #FFFFFF                                     |

{% hint style="warning" %}
The exact colour values are updated periodically by AIESEC International. Always reference the latest BlueBook rather than relying on memorized HEX codes.
{% endhint %}

## Asset Request Process

If you need a brand asset that does not exist (e.g., a new poster layout, a co-branded document, a video intro):

1. Check `10 — Resources & Tools/Brand Assets/` first — it may already exist.
2. If it does not exist, submit a request to the MC MKT Manager with:
   * What you need (format, size, platform)
   * When you need it by
   * Context (what event, campaign, or purpose)
3. Allow at least 5 working days for custom asset creation.
4. Do not publish any externally-facing material that has not been reviewed for brand compliance.

## Common Brand Mistakes to Avoid

| Mistake | Why It Matters | What to Do Instead |
| ---------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Using an outdated logo | Confuses external audiences and looks unprofessional | Always download the latest logo from the Brand Assets folder |
| Wrong shade of blue | Weakens brand recognition | Use the exact HEX values from the BlueBook |
| Inconsistent fonts | Makes materials look amateurish | Stick to the approved font families |
| Placing the logo on a busy photo | Logo becomes unreadable | Use a solid or semi-transparent overlay behind the logo |
| Adding effects to the logo (shadow, glow, outline) | Violates brand guidelines | Use the logo as-is, no modifications |
| Mixing AIESEC branding with unapproved partner logos | May violate co-branding rules | Check the BlueBook's co-branding section before combining logos |
